Reception into the Order of Neptune is achieved by Members who have shown extraordinary merit and given outstanding service to the Krewe.
It is awarded primarily to those who have served at least two years as an elected member of the Board of Directors.
The award is presented ceremoniously at the annual Coronation Ball by the outgoing King who “Knights” the receiving member. The distinguished medallion is proudly worn at all official functions and events.
