St.Patrick's Day Event!
Saturday, March 15th
Starts at 2pm at the Cove with the hat contests and other entertainment.
At 3pm the feast begins with all you can eat grilled chicken, barbeque ribs, their famous sweet corn bread, salad, beer and wine.
At 4pm the buses begin to leave the Cove for the parade staging area. For Tampa people, after the buses drop off the party people from the Cove at the staging area, a bus will go to Ybor for a pickup for those who wish to leave their cars in Ybor and drive home from there, versus returning to Pinellas county. Details on location to come.
Guests: Yes, this is a special pay as you go event. Which means you can bring guests to this event (male and female). If any of you have some Krewe member prospects, this is a perfect time for them to test the waters!!!
(Guests and S/O will be required to sign a release form protecting YMKN and its members).
Cost: Only $35 for each Krewe members and S/O, and $45 for each guest. What a deal . ! . Beer and wine at the Cove, entertainment, all you can eat, a commemorative t-shirt and riding the float with an open bar! Guest fees will be charged to your Krewe account, so it's up to you if you want to have your guest reimburse you.
Hat contests:
Women: Prettiest and wildest!
Men: Ugliest and most outrageous!
RSVP: Coming soon with a very hard cutofff date.
The t-shirts will be ordered and they will be the ticket to attend the event and ride the parade.
RSVP cutoff date: February 28th!
RSVP survey will be sent early next week, watch for it.
Bead sale and Shirt pickup: We plan on having a bead sale (for members and guests) Saturday the 8th before the parade and a bead and shirt pickup Thursday the 13th. Guests will be required to sign the release form in order to receive their shirt (the ticket to ride). If they are unable to attend Thursday's shirt pickup they can sign and pickup their shirts the day of the parade at the Cove.
As St. Patrick's Day luck would have it, this is going to be another great event ... you don't want to miss this one!
